Like to write?? Join our writing club!
Calling all 6th - 9th graders!! The Millicent Library is starting a Writing Club in November to celebrate National Novel Writing Month (a.k.a. NaNoWriMo). We'll be using resources from the Young Writer's Program at NanoWriMo where you can sign up for an account. We'll each set a word count goal for the month of November and try to each write a short novel/graphic novel/comic book/manga book, etc. Sounds fun to me!
I'm writing a book, too. So far the working title is:
How I fell in love, made friends and conquered the world: A user's guide
by Laura Gardner
What do you think??
Hope to see you at our first meeting on November 6th at 3 p.m.!
